Fielden Scroggins marriage to Rosannah Covington - Russell Co Al, 1 Jan 1836
http://boards.ancestry.com.all/localities.northam.usa.states.alabama.counties.macon/525/mb.ashx [or Google Fielding Scroggins] This site has a posting of a deed conveyance between Fielding Scroggins to the heirs of Wm Pugh in Macon County, Al dated 8 Jan 1837. The Dower Release is signed by mary Ann Scroggins [Seal], Witnessed by Willis and Colson Shelton.
1850 Census for Fauquier Co VA list a Charles Scogins who died intestate in 1782. A John Fielding Scroggins [VA] names a son Charles, perhaps this is his ancestor.
