Edith Scripture married my grandfather James Parker after my grandmother died. They were married 25 mar 1911 in Shelby County, Indiana. Their only son James W. Parker was born 1 July 1915 and died 21 June 1990. James Parker Sr. died 27 April 1915. Edith died 15 May 1978. Orpha Scripture married Samuel Raper. Edith and Orpha are daughters of Philander and Lucinda/Minnie Scripture. The whole family lived in Decatur County, Indiana so I'm sure that your David is related.
