A tiny branch on my family tree hangs a leaf bearing the name of Philander Scripture. A picture in my grandmothers little box of goodies is of 'File' on his 95th birthday in 1945 which puts his birth in IN about 1850. He married Lucinda Duty and they had 2 girls that I can track - Orpha and Edith. They spent their entire lives in IN and most of it in Shelbyville. I was hoping that 'File" may somehow tie in with David.
