My mother, a Scribner, gave me a listing of her fathers siblings. They were born in Marion Ohio in the late 1800's. Her grandfather was Samuel Scribner. In one of the lists, it shows his middle initial was M, but then another had it as J. My great grandmother was Harriet Sult. The list of names and dates of birth, were sent to my grandfather, Zeona Bert Scribner in the 1950's, by his brother, Samuel J Scribner. If anyone is interested in the names and dates, please let me know. My grandfather left home, Marion, Ohio, when he was 15, and headed West to Illinois, and lived there until his death in 1971.
