James Scribnerb. 1767 from New Canaan, CT,son of Samuel Scribner b. ca 1734 and Mary (Bouton) Scribner, married Elizabeth Young b. ca 1775, sister of Shaw Young and sister of Laura (Polly) Young, and daughter of William Young b. 1748 and Elizabeth (Chapman) Young.
