There seems to be 2 different theories on Wm. Riley Screws Parents. I recently received a Screws Family Tree, listing Jacob Screws and Nancy Denson as his parents with 7/8 Generations of documented ancestry going back from these two? Others say Stephen Screws and Mary Hand were the parents of W.R. Screws? If the latter is true (which I believe it is) then the Screws Family Tree that is being circulated is incorrect! I am a descendant of Wm. Riley and Martha Messer Screws-(son:James Marion-grandson:Joseph Otto) and would like someone to help me clarify what branch of Screws I actually descend from? HELP!!!!
