the only information i have on ellen rendle and william scragg (my ggrandparents) is
my gmother nelly scragg
b 15 june 1901 d march 1964 m robert john ballie b 7 sept 1905 d nov 1988.
my mother yvonne rendell baillie told me that the family scragg came from devon but i have no proof of that.
the spelling of her middle name was apparently a typo in the recording of her birth.
