How nice of you to send this info! I looked at all the Scotts, etc. I guess this Richard Scotton could be Richard Scott, but the counties aren't right. We're beginning to think that William and George, whom we presume to be his brother, were possibly the original immigrants, possibly coming with some of Ninian Beall's settlers, many of whom were from Fiefshire.

Sorry to hear you're still hung up on William. What a frustrating hobby we have!
