Would like to find any research on this Thomas and Andrew
Scott in Wayne Co. NC.
Many have this Thomas and Andrew as the Thomas and Andrew that was in Rowan, NC but I know for a fact that is not true.
Andrew of Rowan who married Isabel Bar was dead by 1784.
Thomas of Rowan who married Marie Dodson was also dead by 1785-6 in Burke Co. NC.Thomas was killed in King's Mountain
Thomas was on old Dobbs Co. Tax list. 1799
and both were on the 1790 Wayne Co. NC Census
The Thomas and Andrew of Wayne Co. NC were on the 1786 Tax
list Thomas had 360 acres 1 poll under 50 years old
Andrew 800 acres 1 poll under 50 years old.
Charles Scott's will in Wayne Co. NC Dated Jan 2, 1832
list sons; Britton, Council, Andrew, and Benjah and daughters Jinnett and Martha Crawford, grandchildren
Charles and Avy Pate, wife of Charles Avy.
What happen to Andrew and Thomas? Would like to find
Descendants that have a proven paper trail with Sources
back to Thomas and Andrew Scott in Wayne Co., NC
PLEASE do not tell me, this is the Thomas and Andrew that was in Rowan Co. NC THERE IS NO WAY THAT IS POSSIBLE.
