John Scott b. abt 1761 [another source gives abt 1790] and d. August 31, 1825 in Newberry County, SC (just a few miles from where I live]. John married Nancy Agnew who was born abt. 1777 in Ireland [Another source gives her birth as 1790] and died October 12, 1861 in SC.
Child of John and Nancy Agnew is:
William Scott b. August 09, 1811 and d. September 17, 1889, SC at the age of 78 years and 25 days.
Robert Scott(William) was born 1761, and died January 03, 1886. He married Mary Katherine Adair, daughter of William Adair and Elizabeth Cromwell. She was born February 1839 and died August 1872.

Annetta Scott b. July 12, 1861, Monticello Florida, who married 1) James Albert Brandon in 1886; died 1895. Annetta Scott married 2) A. F. Fox after 1895.

Children of William and Jane Lofton Scott are:
Charlotte Ladoski Scott b. March 30, 1856 d. March 18, 1927, Newberry County. (Always called Lottie and it is on her tombstone as well.) She married George Carter Riser, son of William Riser and Elizabeth Berley. He was born May 25, 1846 in Pomaria, SC, Newberry Cty, SC and Died December 09. 1927, in Newberry Cty, SC [These are my great grandparents and they are buried about 18 miles from my home.]
