Would be very interested in knowing if your data base on the descendants of Daniel and Jane Johnson Scott includes a Thomas Scott, b. ca. 1730 possibly MD, d. 1793 Wilkes Co., NC. Believe children of this Thomas to be William, b. ca. 1750; Thomas, b. ca. 1760 MD (as per his RW pension application); Nathaniel, b. ca. 1760; Richard, b. ca. 1760; Samuel, b. ca. 1760; Martin, b. ca. 1760; Sarah, b. ca. 1760; and Jemima, b. ca. 1760. This family may have settled originally in Rowan Co., NC and as the county lines changed ended up in Surry and Wilkes Cos., NC by abt. 1777. Some of these descendants settled in Wayne Co., KY in the early 1800's.
