Kay, Last week when I went to the Library I went thur all Land Deeds Court Records Marriages records and find nothing on Nathaniel Scott other then Surety for marriage Bonds. Wiliiam Scott and Mary Ayers were on a POA to collect from her father Thomas Ayers.
Unless there are missing Land Deeds that are not at the Dallas Library I did't see any Land Deeds on Nathaniel
Scott.
I SEARCHED RECORDS FROM 1800-30. I did not find any Wills on the Scotts other then a will George Hereford.
We know that Nathaniel was in Wilkes Co. possible to Cumberland Co.,Ky and then Wayne Co. So, I wonder when would he married the Ayers Daughter. Not in Wayne Co. and many of the Ayers were in Surry Co. in 1790 Do you have a copy of the POA? Would love to see that........Jerry
