The Scotts that I am researching are Nathaniel (Nathan)birth abt 1760 married Sarah Hereiford 7 Dec 1780 Wilkes Co. NC. his son Nathan b/ 1785 Wikles Co. married Elizabeth Wade 19 Dec 1811, Wayne Co. Ky Elizabeth father William Wade.
Nathaniel's Daughter Frances Franky Scott married Gibbs Cook 23 Feb 1814. Wayne Co. Ky Her Father Nathaniel gave consent to marry.
William Scott b/ 1782 possible a son but not proven married Celia Conn 27 July 1809. Its very possible that Nathaniel is William's father, William names his son Nathaniel who was b/Oct 20 1817
Possible Daughter of Nathaniel, Jane Scott married Lewis Harman Bondman was Nathaniel Scott
These Scotts were in Wilkes Co. North Carolina and thus Lands Deeds I am very certain that Nathaniel Scottis the brother to my ggg grandfather Thomas Scott b/1755 and died in 1834 Cumberland Co. Ky.Thomas's Grandson Thomas SCOTT married Mira Long 1 July 1828 Wayne Co. Ky.
Thomas Scott, Sr, son Martin married Elizabeth Unk. Her name not listed on marriage record in Wayne Co. but thur land Deed we know her name was Elizabeth. married 19 March 1808 Surety was William Scott.
Nathaniel wife Sarah Hereiford's brother George Hereiford sells to Elizabeth Scott above 75 acres for $165.00 in Wayne CO.KY North side of the Cumberland River near the mouth of Wolf Creek. States that Elizabeth is the Widow to Martin Scott; dated Mar. 4, 1814
Thur Lands Deeds in Wilkes Co. we know that Nanthiel has a sister Jemima, and brothers Samuel, and Richard, Richard settled in Wilson Co. Tennessee in early 1800
after selling land in Wilkes Co.Ky No other information on Jamima and Samuel.
Nathaniel's in-law Henry Hereiford and his sons were also in Wayne Co. Ky and Henry died in 1813 Franklin Co., Tn.
Henry and sons were also in Wilkes Co. Ky
