I am looking for information about the birthplace of Thomas Scott who married Dorcus Cooley in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born January 7, 1831 in Clark County, Indiana. He was the son of Louis Scott, born about 1804 in Kentucky and died 1858 in Terre Haute, Indiana. This is my husband's greatgrandfather and we are trying to trace the family back to a place in Kentucky. Any help would be appreciated.
