It's not an exact science, but the date of birth and location for your william, 1732, would seem to fit. The average age at marriage in Scotland in the mid 1700's was about25 to 30. Yours is the only one that fits this criteria. It could, ofcorse be wrong. You would need to verify any info on the net, with a valid source. I suggest you try to obtain confirmation from Scots Origins in Edinburgh, from the Old Parish Registers they hold. There URL is:
