Dear Ian
I wonder if the William Proctor Smith (?RN)who was living at Chatham Dockyard in 1831 could be a member of yor family?
His wife Mary was an illigitimate daughter of one of the Wordsworths. I am trying to trace the marriage and work back to the circumstances of her birth and upbringing but any info which might provide a lead would be appreciated
Geoffrey
