I am interested in the family of William Oliver and Isabella Mackay, married 1833 in Scotland. According to their daughter's death certificate in Perth, Ontario, William was born in Roxburghshire c 1811-1814, and Isabella in Sutherlandshire. They migrated to Quebec c 1836 and then to Ontario c 1838. They had sons Robert born Scotland and Kenneth born NY, daughters Isabella, Hughann, Ellen, Myrna and Jessie
One of their daughters was named Hughann, a variation on Hughina that is common in the old records of Roxburghshire. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
