please could some one help me find a marriage for william scott. the only thing i know about him is that his son robert (my 4x gtgrandad)was born 1801 -1803 christened 23rd. april 1805 ancrum robert moved down to wales(merthyr) and married there in 1822 and his son has the name robert dodds scott. so could william have married -dodds? the only one i find was william scott marriage to mary dodds on 10th. oct. 1742 ancrum, but i think this would be to early for them to have a son in 1801-1803?i found robert on IGI gives fathers name william but no mothers name has anyone got the parish records for ancrum to help me please.
