Rickerby in the 1851 Census of Hawick
Posted by: LarryR (ID *****3511) Date: February 05, 2005 at 10:15:41

Hi,

Would any kind soul with a copy of the 1851 census of Hawick be willing to advise what might be the information contained within it on the Rickerby family?

I have found the name on a surname only listing regarding this census.

There will not be many, the name is very rare in Roxburghshire at this time.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this regard having become frustrated with the waiting on Scotlands People to issue same on line. They are now almost 1 year late on their original schedule promise and now it has been extended another 6 months.

Regards,

LarryR
