Horsman and Rae of Hawick

John and Hellen (Nelly) Rae Horsman immigrated from Hawick to Baltimore via the port of Liverpool in 1818. Their son, Peter Horsman, was naturalized in 1839 and he said that he was from the town of "Harrick" (I believe Hawick), Scotland. John and Hellen also had children Nelly (from her first marriage), and Nancy Horsman.

I am looking for any documentation on this family: marriage records, census, taxes, church, etc. I know I'm being rather vague but this is all the information I have and need ANY clue to take it further. Help!
