Hi, I can find no John Murray who goes back to 1669. There's a John Murray who came to Spittal-on-Rule as a farmer in 1730. This John's wife was Mary ??. They had nine children: John b-1740, James b-1741, Archibald b- ??,
Andrew b-1747, William b-??, Betty b- ??, Margaret b-??, Isabel b-1744 and Jean.

John Murray and Isabel Turnbull were married in 1701. There's someone else doing reseach about them.
