Seeking information on Walter Hope of Roxburghshire. Todate I know that he left Scotland, and settled in Grey County, Ontario. He married Mary Biggar, and they had a family of 12 children. I do not know the names of Walter's parents, but I do know that his father passed away in Roxburghshire on, or about August 30, 1868, and his mother on, or about April 7, 1870. From what I have been able to piece together so far Walter had at least one brother James, and a sister Margaret, both in Hawick. Walter was born about 1814.

If anyone thinks they have information that will help me to learn more about Walter in Scotland, I would very much like to hear from you.
