Hi Mark,
I am also a Murray coming from John Murray b- 1669 Hobkirk, I'm sorry I don't know where they came from before 1669 but have heard a rumour maybe from Ireland?
I trace my line from John 1669 down, all in my tree are John's except one Hugh b- 1825 Jedburgh, Roxburghshire who immigrated to Australia my gg granfather another John was born on the ship "Castle Eden" in 1848 at the Bay Of Biscay, They settled near Taree, New South Wales.
