I have the monumental inscriptions for Ancrum and Longnewton.

Number 21: Cross: In memory of WILLIAM SCOTT who died at Balmer Ancrum 18.12.1866 in the 79th year of his age. also SUSAN LAKE his wife who died 26.9.1869 aged 69 years. Also their daughter ISABELLA STEVENSCON SCOTT who died at Balmer 13.8.1905. Here also is interred her neice ISABELLA STEVENSONSCOTT who died at Balmer 9.7.1930.

I am also researching Scotts in the Jedburgh/Eckford etc areas.

Kerry in Western Australia
