Hi Martha, I am just getting to Scotland with my Riddell line and noticed your note on them from Jedburgh. My James Riddell from the same place also emmigrated to Port Dover, Ontario about 1840. I have him with two brothers but have not proved either. Robert and John. That's about all I know to this point however I do have notes that they fell into financial ruin about 1819. The place stood in the village of Lilliesleaf on the Ale Water, near Hawick. If you have anyting you can share on this family, I'd be greatful. Regards, Rick
