I am searching for the parents of John Cook. He was born around 1650-60 in Ednan, Roxburghshire. He married Jean Duncan born abt 1663 in Smailholm, Roxburghshire. They are the grandparents of Captain James Cook the noted navigator and explorer who discovered Hawaii and plotted the Pacific.
