Dear Friends, While doing research I learned of a Cholera epidemic in the 1840's in Hawick. Also, when a distant relative was in Lilliesleaf a local inhabitant pointed out a 'burial mound ' in a Churchyard from an earlier period. Has anyone any idea if there was an earlier epidemic in this area, Or of a source in the USA [internet] to find this info. Thank you. Jane Goodfellow Straub
