The forename Dushee is unknown in Scotland. There have been no births with that forename since statutory registration began in 1855, and no surviving records of any pre-1855 births with that forename. It may be that this was a nickname, possibly taken from the Gaelic language (he would have been a Gaelic speaker, if your info that he was born on the Isle of Jura is accurate).

I have Shaw's from the nearby island of Islay in my own ancestry.
