Dorothy Ann Brehm is my mother, she died on February 27, 2007. I am trying to take over her legacy of our genealogy. If you have read her posts and have any information please contact me.

I appreciate your help.

Sincerely
Lauren Bergren (nee Brehm)

Dorothy Brehm's last post:
I would like to know the family history back from this point.
John Dun(n) born 1743 married Janet Buchanan (that is all I have.
I know of one son:ALEXANDER born May 25, 1765 married Jean Muire (that's all I have.
I know of Alexander's son: JAMES born June 28, 1780 (a weaver) married Janet McIntyre born 1784 (daughter of John & Mary McIntyre) wed September 14, 1805 Bans posted in the Parish of Bonhill and of Killearn. They bore Mary 1805;married Malcolm Campbell);Alexander 1807; John 1808; Catherine 1810; Peter 1812; James 1814; WILLIAM 1816; Catherine 1818; Margaret 1820; Daniel 1823; Andrew 1824(died) and Andrew 1826.Somewhere here another 'N' was added to the name.
James died June 1,1854 and Janet died in 1861.
I know of their son WILLIAM born January 23, 1816 who married Annie Reid born October 10, 1822;(daughter of Andrew Reid & Annie - who died in childbirth; Annie had a brother Thomas). They were married in the Parish of Greenock January 01, 1841.and lived in Cathcart.
WILLIAM & ANNIE had two children then packed up and emmigrated to Canada to settle in Ingersoll, Ontario, where they operated a foundry then a cheese factory; had a further ten children. I know the genealogy from that point down through a John Dunn's family; his son Willam's family, my father David; me Dorothy; my six children; their eleven children and to my own great granddaughter. If anyone would like details of the Canadian families, by all means contact me.
