John Clark and Ann Lamb, b mid 1700s - possibly Kincardine, Caithness.
My maternal gt gt gt gt grandmother, Janet Clark was the wife of John Sanderson, flaxdresser, according to her burial record. She died in 1849, Dundee. On her burial record it states that she was born in Kincardine. (Birth about 1774.) Her daughter, Ann, was named for her grandmother Ann Lamb.On Janet's sister, Margaret's burial record it states that her father was John Clark, ship's carpenter and her birthplace was also Kincardine.
Another daughter, Betty, was named for her grandmother, Betty Charleson, but I'm almost certain she was John Sanderson (Saunderson/Sandison's mother Elspet Charleson.)
There are a few Kincardine's in Scotland, so . . .
Any help solving this problem will be most welcome.
