Gook morning to you too Alex now 10:00 am. No the name and date is on the mass card. I may be saying it wrong It might not have an s on it. Cousin Fran is saying Ever so can you try that in the same places? Would appreciate it. It's definitely not spelled with the H. Hopefully, you may have better luck now. Maybe she was born out of wedlock and not registered? Wouldn't that be the cow's pajamas! Then shipped her off to the US. At this point I'm making jokes but who knows.
Thanks again for staying in touch and trying to help.
I'm not having anymore luck trying to find my Father's family. Don't know exactly where you can search over there so I'll tell you a little. Paternal GG Thomas Brierton born 1834 in Canada maybe Ontario. Parents' listed as Irish. Married Ann Riley from Ireland. Don't know how they met and married. Had James 1861, Rose 1866, Sylvester 1870 (my Grandfather) and Thomas 1872. These people and dates are correct. I can't find out anything about GG's parents or Anns' 1870 and 1880 census had them in West Troy, N.Y from Canada. Ann's brother Patrick Riley lived with them then.
