John Callender family origins from Scotland to US to Canada

Looking for anyhelp of any early Callender or variations of origins from Scotland

I am a descendent of a John Callender born 1793 who went into Canada around 1810 to marry a Margaret Stoner (father was John Stoner) John Callender settled in scarborough Ontario Canada and died there in 1850.

Origins of his parents have been held us back for over 30 years. All we have is his birth year and possibly born Black Creek Michigan.

On his marriage certificate was a witness of an Elizbeth Callender (sister or perhaps mother)

Origins have been put down as Pennsylvania Dutch before...but pennsylvania could have been of german descent or from origins in Scotland itself

And of course his parents must have come from somewhere..scotland?

Wondering if there is any origins of a Callender/Kelner/Kahlinder family from Scotland who may have gone over to US?

Thanks
D. Callender Ontario
