Hi Sieglinde,

As well as having William John Boyce, William and Elizabeth also had 2 daughters - Elizabeth, christened 25th Fenruary 1834 in Leswalt, and Helen, christened 29th March 1838 in Girvan, Ayrshire.

I have been unable to find this family on the census returns of 1841 & 1851.
