Alexander-Moise family

Alex. Alexander and Elizabeth Moise were born around 1800. He in Scotland and she in the East Indies. They married in Edinburgh and came to the Philadelphia area, then migrated to Iowa in 1838, where their daughter Margaret was born the same year. They did have other children. Any help would be appreciated to fill in some of the blanks.
