Have been researching our Pringle geneology for years~have traced our line to George Pringill b 06 Mar 1662 in Stow, Midlothian, Scotland. Would like to know if he is related to the Pringles of That Ilk or Torsonce.
We are related through his son Willam b 17 Jun 1684 Melrose, Roxburgh, Scotland.
William's son John Pringle b 1708, Embleton, Northumberland, England
John's son thomas Pringle b 23 Dec 1733 Embleton, England
Brother James b 1817, Kelso, Scotland
Thomas's son Willam L. Pringle b 09 apr 1785 Greenburg, Kentucky USA
Brothers James b 26 Dec 1782, Pennsylvania, USA
and Robert Prngle b 15 Sep 1794 Pennsylvania, USA
Sorry this is lenghy would love to hear from anyone who connects to our line with information. My husband and I visited the Hoppringle site by the Gala River years ago.
