If you have not done so, you should locate the English Marriage record on Find My Past, searching separately under both the Bride and Groom.
The Index references should be identical; and you should then order a full copy from the GRO in Southport Lancashire, a link is provided.

You should carry out a similar exercise for the other Marriage, trying both the English (& Welsh) records on FMP above; and the Scottish records on Scotland's People.

The ages of any children and birthplaces in those Censuses, may be pointers to the date and location of the marriage - OR they may be misleading!
If you locate the Marriage on this site, then you can VIEW the Scanned IMAGE of the Original Record on-line; otherwise it would be ordering from the GROS Edinburgh, again a link is provided.

If both Marriage records are fully completed, then you should be able to find out the names of the respective parents - but gang waurily, I have encountered one Marriage record where out of the four names for the two parents, only the father's last name was correct.

You would have to contact the Submitter for his source, although it may show up on Censuses.

The CRYAN name seems mainly associated with the west of Scotland, Glasgow, Lanarkshir, Dunbarton etc, tending to suggest Irish origins.

Doesn'y show up in the 1901 Census.

On SP, there are 31 Deaths of CRYAN + Soundex Variants from 1855 to 1900.
It may be worth looking at those in more detail.
Unfortunately, it is more difficult to do such searches on FMP, although recent developments on ANCESTRY may help.

Hopefully, some of the above may provide clues.
