Please note the updated information researched from the Scotlands People website (http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/) during the last week and posted to GenForum on 9/2/07. Within the next two or three weeks, we will be reviewing microfilm at the LDS Family History Center in White Plains, Maryland (USA) to check the Parochial Registers of Inishkeel Parish, Donegal, Ireland. Our objective is to review the February 9, 1893 marriage certificate (Fintown, Donegal) of Neil and Mary Doherty. Hopefully this information will enable us to determine the Townland that they returned to after their stay in Scotland. We will then use that information to locate them in the 1911 Census of Scotland.
