Looking for the possible family in the 1901 census we find in the index:
GILLESPIE HUGH M 40 ST ROLLOX GLASGOW CITY LANARK 644/06 019/06 002
GILLESPIE JANE F 40 ST ROLLOX GLASGOW CITY LANARK 644/06 019/06 002 and
GILLESPIE ROBERT M 0 ST ROLLOX GLASGOW CITY LANARK 644/06 019/06 003 which indicate that he is on the next page. Both were born in Ireland.
Looking for the death of Jane (it is easier this way) we find that she died on 15 January 1935 (107 Kennedy Street Glasgow) aged 74 and advised by her daughter Alice Duncan. Alice's marriage:
1921 DUNCAN DAVID GILLESPIE ALICE ST ROLLOX GLASGOW CITY LANARK 644/08 0172 and from looking at the image of this registration Hugh is deceased.
