Robert Henry Cox (1785) m Caroline Gee (1792)

Hello,

I'm trying to find some further information on my Cox/Gee line.

Robert Cox and Caronline Gee were married in 1818 in Cloyne, Cork, Ireland. Robert was born in Scotland, but Caroline was born in Ireland of landed gentry. Two of the family estates were called "Lisaroe" and "Ballyguin" and they were in Waterford. They had three sons

James Paul Gee b. 1819 (In Ireland)
Henry Robert Cox b. 1825 (In Ireland)
Charles Webb Cox b. 1835 (In Australia, my ggg-grandfather)

A family tale is that Caroline's brother was shot through the breakfast window of the house and it's assumed this was one of the reasons that the family left Ireland to settle in Australia.

Any info or help or hints would be greatly appreciated!

Olivia Trim
