COMBS-COOMBS &c International DNA Study

I would like to invite family history researchers to learn about the COMBS Research Group's International DNA Study implemented this past March. I would like very much to share what we are doing to further COMBS-COOMBS family history research. We have made steady progress since the Study's inception and are including a broad range of spellings of COMBS-COOMBS surnames and those of the MacThomas Clan that fit into the COMBS &c group of names (about 100 variations overall). We are not limiting the scope to America only, but are including researchers who have an interest in relations of Canada, Australia, the British Isles and continental Europe, etc. Please visit our website at --
http://www.combs-families.org/combs/dna/index.html
(The left panel is a drop down menu, just click-on the terms DNA STUDY.)

Be sure to check-out our "Virtual Archive" of COMBS-COOMBS lineages we designed to facilitate the locating of others with similar research interests and for seeing who may benefit from DNA findings. Although we are in a start-up mode, we have 93 lineages so far and would be happy to include those of more researchers to facilitate them in pursuing their COMBS &c ancestry. We are a non-profit group so there is no cost involved.

I hope to answer any questions you may have about the Study. Thank you!
