Seeking information on the ancestors of John MacDonell and wife Mary McDonald. Both may have been born c1780s Inverness-Shire Scotland. Daughter Catherine MacDonell prob b 1815-1820 Inverness-Shire, Scotland, m. Kenneth R. MacDonald early 1840s Scotland, and they migrated to Canada mid to late 1840s. Children born in this marriage: Isabel b. 1847 Scotland, d. Jun 1856, Glengarry Co. Ont. Canada; John Kenneth b. between 1840 and 1847 Scotland, d. Brantford, Brant Co. Ont, Canada; Nancy b. 1849 Scotland or Canada d. bef. 1851 probably Lancaster, Glengarry Co., Ont., Canada; Nancy b. 1851 prob. Lancaster, Glengarry Co., Ont., Canada; Angus b. 1851 d. Ont. Canada; Donald b. c1856 prob Lancaster, Glengarry Co., Ont., Canada; d1865 age 9 yrs., Lancaster, Glengarry Co. Canada; Alexander b. 1852 Lancaster, Glengarry Co. Canada. Youngest four [4] children were baptized at St. Raphaels RC, Lancaster, Glengarry, Ont. Canada.
