I would be grateful if anyone has information on Samuel McMillan born about 1822 at Fort William, Killmallie or Inverness-shire, Scotland. (Different certificates record different places). His parents names were Samuel and Mary McMillan. Not sure of any siblings names but could be Jean and Catherine.
Both Samuel and his father were farmers/shepherds/graziers. Samuel jnr immigrated to Victoria, Australia, possibly about 1848 and married Tomina Gunn (also formally from Inverness Scotland) in Victoria, Australia in 1856. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks
