Archibald Watson b Jul 1837 was third child, and only son I think, of William Watson and Mary Armour m 7th Aug 1832.
William was farmer in Craigs Farm which is a few miles north west of Campbeltown on main road, but by 1842 the family were in Barony parish, Glasgow, where two daughters were born.
By 1851 Census, Mary was a widow at Rosehill Farm, Killean with Archibald aged 14, Mary aged 9 and Margaret aged 6.
Mary was born at Rosehill in 1808, first child of Archibald Armour and Isabella Greenlees. In the Census she is recorded in the household of her brother, another Archibald, from whom I am descended.
I have more information about some of the people you have mentioned. Please email me privately if you want to share.
