Hello,

I have a Mary Elizabeth Scollen or Scullen in my lists. I was wondering if you may have any information on her. Mary Elizabeth Scullen-Bray, first wife of Albert Bray was removed from Calvary Cemetery where
she was buried in 1891 to Mount Carmel Cemetery in 1928 to be buried with Bridgit Scollan, Catherine McMahon, Coleman McMahon, John J. Gannon and her daughter Louise Bray.

If any of these names mean anything, please let me know.

ALBERT HENRY BRAY b. March 31, 1864 in Ishpeming, Michigan, a miner d. December 28, 1928, Wayne County, Dearborn Township, Michigan, a Machinist at the Ford Tractor Company, married ( 1) MARY ELIZABETH SCULLEN b. 1871 in Memphis Tennessee and d. in 1891 in childbirth. buried in Calvary Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. Her vital statistics did not give her maiden name, nor her parents names. She may have died in childbirth.

LOUISE BRAY was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Scullen and Albert Bray

Albert had a daughter named LOUISE aka LULU.
Louise married JOHN SPECK. LOUISE had a son named JOHNNY. Their ancestors come from Cornwall, England. ALBERT was best man at his brother JOHN BRAY m. SADIE O’REILLY wedding in
Chicago, Illinois 1893. I have a photo of Lotte Hayton-Bray and the son John

And ( 2) LOTTE LEE HAYTON b. September 10, 1885, Saginaw, Michigan d. December 24, 1956, Inskster, Michigan. Albert was the Country Treasured at his death and Lotte was elected to that post after his demise and ran several times and won that post.

Lotte was the daughter of WILLIAM HAYTON b. 1856 in England and IDA LAKE b. 1856 in Michigan. Lotta had a sister named META b. 1893 and Meta was a bookkeeper in a Department Store.
