I'm looking for information or hints that might pertain to the ancestry of Amelia Louisa Scolding (= Amy Scolding or Emilia Scolding or Emily Scolding), b. abt 1775, d. 17 Dec 1845 at Stamford, Upper Canada (now = Ste. Catharines, Ontario, Canada). She married Philip Chesneau DELATRE, and lived in England and Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) before moving to Canada. Some of their children (perhaps all) were born in Ceylon.
