Looking for information on my great-grandfather, Levi Worth Scofield who was born probably in the Lewisboro, Westchester County, area of NY in 1850. Levi first married Emily M. Slawson of Pound Ridge, NY in 1869, and second, my great-grandmother, Charlotte M. Beardsley who was born in 1858. They had:
George W. Scofield b. circa 1891
Irma Scofield b. 1884
Harry Griffin Scofield (my grandfather) b. 1875 and married Martha Alice Baxter
Alice Scofield
Garry L. Scofield b. 1891
Levi Horace Scofield b. 1888.
I would like to find out more about his father, Sylvester Scofield.
Levi is buried in Beckhill Cemetery, Lewisboro, NY.
