Christian was born about 1780. I found him in the Robe, Greifenberg, Pommern, Prussia church records. The records start about 1810 and apparently he is already married. There is no mention of a father. I also found a Friedrich Schwichtenberg in town with a father named Friedrich (1758-1844)also. No mother is mentioned. I think that Christian and Friedrich might be brothers but I have no other information to connect them. They both were seamen. My Christian had 4 wives, Anna Blanken, Maria Voights, Engel Debberts, and Anna Maria Dose. Friedrich married a Maria Bieters. Anyone with information? I think they might have ties back to the Stettin area.
