My grand parents came from Germany in 1879 and settled in Milwaukee. My grandfathers name was August. He was a little boy when he came over. I believe we go back to Pomerania as place they came from. I was confused for a while when I found that there is a town called Schwichtenberg in Germany. I don't speak or read Germany so I'm lost when I try to referance.
