Anna Sophia Schwichtenberg could very well be linked to my Schwichtenberg family from the Treten area of Kreis Rummelsburg. Reinwasser, Kreis Rummelsburg was just a few miles down the road from Treten. Do you have any idea who her parents might be? My Schwichtenberg Family emigrated from Kreis Rummelsburg to Rice County, Minnesota in the 1880's, and Otto and Paul Rutz also emigrated from Kreis Rummelsburg, village unknown, in the 1890's I believe. Were did your Rutz family locate...Michigan?? Several families from Kreis Rummelsburg with the same surnames of my family, KRAUSE, SEILS, SCHWICHTENBERG, VOELZKE, KUBALL, and my husband's, TESCHKE and WHITE settled in Berrien County, Michigan, but I am just beginning to work on connections.
