I had a foster half aunt Ann schweigtenberg who married into the podoskys in Australia at Ravenswood Queensland around the end of the 19th.century.I'll follow up the variation in spelling.Schweigten has a clear german meaning and as my german is pretty elementary schwichten is not so clear to me in meaning. Thanks for the lead.Dave Buchanan
